Willen Road East

Bloor Homes has submitted pre-application proposals for up to 800 dwellings on land at Willen Road East.

Willen Road East is located within the wider Milton Keynes East Local Plan allocation, the principle of which is established. The rest of the allocation will be developed by Newlands (employment) to the west of Willen Road and Berkeley (mixed use) to the south.

The emerging masterplan has been drafted after discussion with other landowners, Newport Pagnell Town Council, key technical consultees and Officers of Milton Keynes Council.

Willen Road East will provide the following:

Up to 800 dwellings of mixed type, a primary school and small local centre.

Wildlife Avatar

A series of wildlife corridors/habitat areas and a north-south pedestrian green link.

Two points of access on the eastern side of Willen Road.

Substantial green infrastructure, including formal open space (sports pitches), landscape and amenity areas.

Provision of a distributor road/redway to link to the wider allocation.

A pedestrian and cycle bridge across Monks Way (A422) joining to a network of existing routes.
